CHURCH of ST. ANNE

The Church of St. Anne was built on the site where Mary's mother, Anne, was believed to have been born. Thousands come to this beautifully simple church each year to sing a song in the acoustically perfect structure. The church is located next to the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed the paralytic. The church is also near the start of the Via Dolorosa.
